Delphinia Swackhammer lived all of her childhood life in the Commercial Hotel in Battle Mountain, Nevada. What most people don't know about the Commercial Hotel is that it was built after Delphinia's family hotel, the European Hotel burned.

In this interview, Delphinia describes the Commercial Hotel and what role she and her siblings played in its upkeep. She also talks about other families that ran Basque hotels, the changing times of Battle Mountain and Nevada; and Prohibition.
