Matilda Jauregui left the Basque country at 19 years of age and then lived her entire life in Elko in the Telescope and Star Hotels. In this interview, she tells of her trip to the United States from the Basque country, as well as how she came to run the Telescope and Star Hotels. 

Matilda discusses who owned the Star Hotel from 1910 (when it was built) and 1942 when she sold it for the last time.
