Felicia Basanez

Felicia Basanez lived her life in Winnemucca. Her parents ran the Pioneer Hotel there for many years before giving it up to go run the Overland Hotel, also in Winnemucca. In this interview there is a great deal of information about the Overland Hotel and what role it played in the local Basques' lives. It also includes a description of the hotel as it was back then. 

Some of the most interesting points in the interview come when Felicia tells about what purposes the Overland served besides room and board.
