Anglo-American Basque Studies Society The Anglo-American Basque Studies Society publishes a newsletter which is of interest to anyone with a scholarly interest in Basque topics. It is divided into the following sections: 1. Basque Bibliography designed to keep the readership abreast of recent publications about Basque subjects. 2. Euskal Herriko Berriak or “News of the Basque Country” devoted to an overview of academic developments in the Basque Country as well as research in progress. 3. Journal Contents in which the articles in the most recent issues of the major Basque Studies journals around the world are listed. 4. Members’ Activities in which members are encouraged to inform one another of their current projects. 5. The Forum, a section in which the members are encouraged to express their opinions about any aspect of Basque Studies or Basque-related topics. The AABSS Newsletter is published twice annually and sent to the membership only. Anyone is eligible to join the Anglo-American Basque Studies Society. Student memberships are $10.00 and Sustaining Patrons are requested to contribute $25.00. Members also receive a copy of publications in the Occasional Papers Series of the Basque Studies Program.
