Basque Mini-Festival On July 15, 1980 a troupe of entertainers from the Basque Country gave an exhibition in the University of Nevada Quadrangle. Bertsolaris, woodchoppers, weight lifters, and singers performed for the appreciative audience of students and townspeople. The local Zazpiak Bat Reno Basque Club dancers were also on the program. The exhibition was sponsored by the Basque Studies Program, the University of Nevada Summer Session Office and the Zazpiak Bat Reno Basque Club.
