Linguistics Volume There are still copies available of the volume of linguistic papers resulting from the 1972 Basque Studies Summer Session Abroad, which had a special seminar on Basque linguistics. The volume, which sells for $5.00 (postpaid), is the Anuario del Seminario de Filología de Filología Vasca “Julio de Urquijo”, Volume VI (1972). This issue, edited by Dr. Rudolf de Rijk, was published in 1974 in San Sebastián by the Diputación de Guipúzcoa. All the papers are in English. Copies can be purchased from the Basque Studies Program. Campus In Spain Boise State University is now accepting applications for its Campus in Spain program for 1977-78. The approximate cost of this academic year program based in Oñate, in the Basque country, is $3800. Interested students should write to Dr. J. Basque Studies Program Featured On TV Sunday, May 15, the McClatchy Broadcasting Company will feature the Basque Studies Program on its “Focus on Education” program aired at 10:30 a.m. over KOVR-Channel 13 (Stockton-Sacramento). Slated to appear on the program are Robert Laxalt, Jon Bilbao, and Louis Irigaray, the “Basque Balladeer”. Also, clips of Ben Cardinal’s film Arcaina (Cinemar Productions) will be shown. Elko Festival Slide Show Now available for borrowing is the audiovisual program about the Elko Basque Festival prepared by the Northeastern Nevada Museum in Elko under a grant from the Nevada Humanities Committee. This slide/tape program of approximately 22 minutes is entitled “National Basque Festival” and can be obtained from either the Nevada Humanities Committee, P.O. Box 8065, Reno, Nevada 89507, or Howard Hickson, Director, Northeastern Nevada Museum, P.O. Box 503, Elko, Nevada 89801. There is no charge for the program aside from the return postage.
